Sony Commercial - only a year late

Oooh my neck is stiff. Could it be that while I have been living under a rock for the past year I damaged myself?

Don't ask me how a woman who spends, conservatively, 8 hours a day looking about the Internet, managed to miss this. This fabulous, fabulous thing.

This Sony Bravia commercial came out - too long ago to talk about. I think I found it when I was hunting about on Youtube for some San Francisco vids. It is one of the most beautiful things I have seen. Honestly. No really, I'm not joking. 250,000 bouncy balls, in slow motion, dancing down the streets of San Francisco & you have childlike visual wonder. Add the Swedish guitarist Jose Gonzalez to the mixture & you have perfection.

I have watched the long, hi def, version of this ad maybe 20 times now & it doesn't get old. You've just got to see it. And ,if you have time, watch the 7 minute "making of" clip. It is amazing to see how this was done in reality. No CGI, just dump trucks, hills & bouncy balls. Superb.

NOTE: For those who loved this ad as much as me, you might want to check out the newish one. Sony Bravia have also done an exploding paint commercial. This one set in Glasgow & just as amazing to see how it was orchestrated. More grand that "Balls", but not as beautiful to me. I guess I'm just a Balls kinds girl.
