Tonight we went down to Spitalfield Markets to see Syndey singer/songwritter Lior. Apart from having the daily markets, there are also bars & resturants around the edges. One of them being The Spitz. The venue was really initimate (bloody tiny) & so the furthest away from him that you could be would have been about 4 meters.
The show was a cracker. He has an incredibly beautiful voice that was even more beautiful live than it was on his cd. He ended the night off by singing a prayer in Hebrew (Lior is of Isreali descent) that was chilling & ethereal. It bought the crowd to silence.
His album "Autumn Flow" is worth a listen, if you haven't alreday bought it. It's cruisey, melodic acoustic guitar accompanied by one of the most sincere, unique voices you will hear.
