Well doesn't time fly?

Hello & welcome back to our regular viewing schedule.

I can hardly believe it's been two weeks since I posted anything. It's felt like no time at all. To be honest, the christmas season, mums birthday & the weather threw me into a mild depresson ~ which, thankfully, I can now say I am over. It does go a fair way to explaining why I went missing. I have been head down bum up & on the weekends have been locked in my flat, trying to cheer myself up. I didnt realise at the time that this was the least productive way I could have thought of to cheer myself up...but whatever. We live & learn.

An few things that have happened this week. My friend Immi went home. We are fortunate that she stayed over with us on the night before she left. We had a picnic in our loungeroom - mmmm, sundried tomatos & brie...Shes been travelling recently & I have not seen here nearly as much as I would have liked. She's off home to get herself one fabulous university education & good luck to her. London is a shitty place to be without loads of spare cash. (Even if you are the Mistress of Cheap)

I went for a job interview on Thursday. Felt like I completely bummed out on the interview. I forgot the most simple answers to questions (Moley, I couldn't rmember df -k! For Christ sake) I came across as a real idiot. Walked out the door knowing I had some hardcore study to do if I was ever going to have anything to do with Unix again, then they called me & asked that I go back for a technical interview on Tuesday. I'm pretty sure they have me confused with someone who could actually answer their interview questions! When the HR woman said "we'd like you to come back", I actually said "Are you serious?" So I have been procrastinating about studying all day today. Did manage to fit in a couple of hours this afternoon & will do a few more before bed. Not trying to learn anything new, just refresh the sleeping brain cells. I'll let you know how Tuesday goes.

Finished Kynans first jumper. No pictures just yet as I wanted one of him wearing it. I'll corner him tonight when he comes home from work (yes, he is still at work at 8pm on Saturday - poor bugger) It is my project for January. One month in & I am sticking to this years resolution.

Februarys one is one the needles already. For reasons of secrecy, pictures of this one will not be posted until it is firmly wrapped aruond the recipient. Ooooh, the suspense.

Correction: Newly added picture of Kynan in aforementioned jumper. It is probably a little short & the neck is a tad too tight. These are the modifications I will make on the next one.
