Three cheers for the weekend

I think I am giving up week day blogging. It seems impossible for me to get time to say anything. On the rare occassions I do get the time to blog, I have been stuck at work all day & have nothing of interest to say.

Several things happened today though.

*I discovered that somewhere out there, there are people who want to smell like aliens. I kid you not. I think there may be a need for several thousand more psychologists to be shipped into London.



*I nearly hugged the postman when he delivered this (yes, Australian friends, they have weekend post in England!):

A book I have been waiting SOOOO long to get. It finally arrived & I now have a list of things to knit that I will probably not out live. I'm serious - this book has the most awesome scarf patterns. Guess what you're all getting for your birthdays?



* I am about half way through the jumper I started Kynan last week - when I published my intention to knit an item a month for this year. I have been going at it hammer & tongs in all my spare time. So far the back & front are done. The sleeves are to have furry green stripes on them.
