Also in there was the list - or at least a start on the list. I fear it has already tunred the corner from reality to something far, far scarier, but I am determined not to censor myself. So, the list goes on -
- Own a Vespa
- And a Fiat 500
- Cycle across the bottom of England (from Dover to Lands End) Train cheating is allowed on the outward & inward journeys
- Learn how to knit & sew PROPERLY
- Study graphic design
- Work in a pub in the UK for a while before we go home
- Get my website coded by hand & relinquish reliance on Blogging tools (sorry, Blogger...)
- Go & learn how to Teach English as a Foreign language. Then actually use the skill somewhere (Thailand might be good)
- Be able to touch type at 80WPM or more
- Take an unlimited time & travel around Australia
- Finish my massage qualification (and maybe Interior Design & Teaching ones too, while I'm at it)
- Travel from one side of North America to the other. A road trip of sorts.
- Learn how to make silver jewellery
- Take a helicopter flying lesson
- Work out a way to work outside more often. I have a real yearning to dig, plant, water & lay pavers. Garden creation.
- Be the kind of person I really wish I was
These will do to start. They are the things that fell into my head when I sat down to brainstorm & I'd say they represent me pretty well.
As part of the "get fit" wish, I have been looking into getting a mountain bike. I rode Kynans for a while on Saturday (a VERY short whle) but it was so easy to ride compared to my bike at home. We checked the distance to work & it is actually shorter than cycling to work back at home (the distance I used to cycle, NOT cycling from here to home - derr) I think I might be buying myself a bike for christmas & giving cycling a go. And I cant believe how excited I am about it. Fells good to be doing something off my list.
