On Saturday we had a great morning (if you ignore the fact we were both suffering from extreme flu & felt like death warmed up). We went back to Marylebone High Street to have a look around. They have their christmas decorations up - all sexy & silver - & we wanted to go to the Oxfam book shop that we'd seen before. We had a great time trawling through the book shop & gawping at the way the rich folk live (which, to be honest, isn't that different fron the way most people live at home). So can you imagine my *surprise* when I came home, looked at the photos, went to write my blog & in a fit of, what can only be described as, "extreme multi-tasking", I deleted my pictures.
Luckily Kynan is much smarter than me & realised something could be done about it. He tried multiple file recovery tools, with various levels of success, until he found this. Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery (or ZAR) is just awesome. It took a few hours to scan the 1 gb drive, but it has pulled back so many images that I thought were lost for good. Many more than any of the other tools we tried to use. File that under "useful things".
Thanks to ZAR (& my very clever boyfriend) you get to see this beautiful cat who lives with its sibling in a shop on Marylebone High Street.

He has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.
