Miming fish

Just got back from the ballet - I won tickets to La Sylphide at the Royal Opera House so Kynan & I went to see the first ballet we've seen. Kynan was thoroughly under impressed & the jury is still out for me. I'll think about it tonight. I mostly enjoyed the music & the costuming as the dancing seemed repetitive. There is no argument the building is beautiful & the dancers are top atheles, but the protracted mime that was the plot sort of got to me. Infact Kynan was heard saying during interval "They look like miming fish".

I'll probably give it another go & see the Nutcracker around Christmas time. I'm a sucker for Christmassy stuff.

Other than that, I have an interview scheduled for tomorrow. It's not the worlds most interesting job but it will pay for the exams I need to do to get some credibility in the IT industry here. It will also mean I can afford to buy & send christmas cards home (please see previous paragraph). So fingers crossed it goes well tomorrow. If not, I guess I will have seen a part of London I haven't been to yet.
