2 more jars & one wet neighbour

A quick round-up of the leaking ceiling issue.

Yesterday Kynan go to work & called the council to find out if they had any plans to fix it. They said "yeah. Someone's on their way to your place now". Kynan said "Awesome, I'm at work & no one bothered to tell us that this was happening today". He basically said "I cant make it, but can you tel the workmen to go & look in the boiler room. That's where the problem is"

The council representative said "Yes. I'll do that right now. And I#ll call you later & tell you waht's happened"

Forward to 5pm. Kynan calls the council & asks what happened. "Nothing. You cancelled the workmen call out to your house this morning"

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Kynan did a little bit of uncharateristic yelling & *apparently* someone is coming at 8am this morning.

Fast forward to later that evening at home. Kynan answers a knock on the door. It's our downstair neighbour coming to find out why we're dripping into his flat. He probably thought we'd left the bath running or somethign exciting like that. When he was told we called the council on the 2nd of November - & saw the gaggle of buckets & jars in our hallway - he just shook his head & made his way home. Seems everyone knows how hard it is to deal with the council here. It brings on instant glazed eyes & a sorry look of defeat in the many that have tried before.
