After steaming hot porridge & a cup of tea in bed (oh, my life is *such* a burden) I fiddled about with some photos in GIMP. After spending so many hours with Photoshop the transition has been really easy. For anyone not wanting or having the cash to splash on the later, I would highly reccomend GIMP. It's free after all - & from all the reading I have been doing, it's a mature & skilled piece of software. Pity the same cant be said of my photography!

This was a photo taken as I was rushing across London Bridge on Friday night. It's pretty sharp given the conditions - no tripod, traffic thundering across the bridge, etc - but not what I'd call a good photo. It's way too messy with no focus or meaning. So it will just serve as a reminder of a good night & I'm more than happy with that.

And this picture was one of the ones I managed to take at Borough Market before the carrot cake wiped my memory & I'd forgotten why I was there in the first place.
Boy was it dark tonight early. Stupid thing to say since it was obviously going to be the result of rolling the clocks back, but it is so strange to have it dark before 5pm. Winter in London might take some getting used to.
