Just sit right back & you'll hear a tale...

I was shooting about in Los Gatos (lurvely, leafy swanky neighbourhood not too far from Mountain View) the other weekend. Looking for buttons... but I feel you might all need some respite from the "Knitting Adventures of Shona".... And I drove past these outdoor chairs sitting on the side of the road with a "FREE" sign on them. Awesome timing as Mr Chrubuky & I had been lamenting over our budget that very morning. Always one for a bit of bargain hunting, I stopped & grabbed them (well, I stopped, spoke to the lady getting rid of them, then took them)


I stopped by Jo-Anns fabric shop this arvo & picked up this discontinued fabric to cover over the hardcore 80-ness of the chairs. Not the best picture of the fabric - it has hand sketched bontanical pictures on it with the odd panel coloured a dark watermelon pink.

And the balls....we shall not speak their names.
