My Header is back!

With an additional fullstop. It took me hours to find & renew my header. I haven't messed around with the html code on Blogger since I set the thing up - amazing how quick knowledge seeps out of my head. When I have a spare half an hour I will try & remove this temporary fullstop, but for now, he is our visiting little friend. I'm also thinking of drawing a completely new header - I have a few ideas, so might even make a couple that I can rotate.

I spent this Saturday up in Richmond doing a couple of courses at the Nova Studio. It's a place run by Lori Nova - a soap/natural body products haven. I went to to learn how to make soy wax candles (you wouldn't believe how much crap you breath in burning "normal" parafin candles) & later that day learnt how to make 3 different types of Body Butters. Both were really great courses & I will try & make some products to share around after Christmas. Especially the lemon & poppy seed salt scrub & orange blossom candles.



Since it is well & truely the Christmas Season (or Holidays Season as they more politically correctly call it here) the picture below is from The Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite. It is the most beautiful place to stay (or drop in for a hot chocolate as we did) & they have the most exquisite decorations around the place. Well worth a stay for a special occassion - the price tag excludes anything else.
