Berocca doesn't necessarily give you back you bounce

Sorry it's been a while since I wrote a blog. Didn't want to bore you with the same sort of "today got far too early, went to work, spent far too much time there, came home to knackered to do anything interesting" posts. As that is mostly what seems to happen with me at the moment, my blogging is tapering off. The weekend was spent sleeping off the effects of too little sleep in the week. Also, not inspiring content for a blog.

But now I feel like shit & It's worth writing about! Last night Kynan, Sam, Sams brother & girlfriend & I went to see Faithless at the Brixton Academy. I have seen them in Canberra before & their concerts are energizing & uplifting. They carry a very strong message of peace & the lyric content of their songs is often about respecting each other, joining together to fight hatred/bigotry/racism etc. Last night was no different. The venue is also awesome. The standing area is on a slope so that no matter where you stand, you can see the band. Nice one. The floor is also slightly bouncy making it easier on you to stand for long times. And - VERY STRANGELY - they also managed to get a breeze going in the venure during the concert.

One thing that was different than at home, they are legally required to give you water if you ask for it. Not just a tiny cup of water tap water, but a plastic pint glass of water & ice cubes. OR you can buy it in a bottle for £1.90. How weird.

Anyway - after about 5 hours sleep I am feeling seedier than I have felt for a long time. I had a Berocca last night before bed with about 2 pints of water. I thought that would have me pull up okay, but I feel awful. Another berocca for breakfast...ooooooooh, not feeling too good.

I think I am too old for going out on a school night.
